  Bethany Family Pet Clinic has an opening for a full-time veterinary assistant to join our team!   Location: 15166 NW Central Drive Portland, Oregon 97229  Shift Details: 4x10hrs, some weekends, open to part-time and students (depending on schedule). Compensation: $18 - $22 / hour based on experience   Bethany Family Pet Clinic is an eleven doctor practice located in the heart of Bethany Village, an adorable and family-friendly neighborhood in Portland. We are located about 15 minutes from downtown Portland and Nike and Intel campuses, and an easy commute from most towns in the surrounding area. We have a large, knowledgeable team to help you grow your skills, and the type of clients who are willing to go the extra mile for their pets. We are a full-service practice, including orthopedic surgery, endoscopy, ultrasound, acupuncture, and full-stage life care. Veterinary Receptionist should be proficient in client communications, invoicing, payment collection, and responsible for patient discharge.   Job Summary:   The Veterinary Assistant aids and supports the medical support team in the operation of an animal facility in accordance with Mission Veterinary Partners (MVP) hospital policy and procedures. The Veterinary Assistant also provides medical care to patients as allowed in the veterinary practice act.   

Bethany Family Pet Clinic is growing and has a full-time opportunity for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team!     Compensation: $20-28/hour depending on experience with a $2000 sign-on bonus                              Location: 15166 NW Central Dr, Portland, OR 97229 Shift Details: We are open seven days a week, and typically schedule four 10s. Bethany Family Pet Clinic, located in Portland, Oregon, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team! We are proud to be AAHA accredited (since 1999!), Fear Free Certified, and AAFP Cat-Friendly Practice.   We have a large team of doctors, so we are flexible when it comes to scheduling. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house IDEXX lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, 2 ultrasound machines, Storz endoscopy equipment, video otoscopy, and Tonopen. Several of our doctors have advanced ultrasound training and one of our doctors uses endoscopy routinely for foreign body retrieval and intestinal biopsies. Any candidate with an interest in medicine will be stepping into a large caseload, with all the diagnostic capabilities. We also have three doctors certified in acupuncture, allowing us to offer this additional service to our patients. Furthermore, we utilize the services of a traveling internist and cardiologist.   Our doctors perform a large variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries, and dentistry, and one of our doctors are trained in TPLOs. We have a surgery suite, surgical laser, CryoPen, and 2 dental suites with one just for cats. We have a therapeutic laser unit, which we frequently use on surgical incisions, as well as for wound care and joint pain.   Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care. Doctors and technicians work together as a team each day! Their input and observations are highly valued by all our doctors. Every doctor is supported by our incredible team of 10 CVTs alongside tech assistants and doctor’s assistants to help treat our loyal and quickly growing client base. To support our growing client base and expanding team, we have developed a close relationship with Portland Community College's CVT program and regularly take in both technician externs as well as veterinarian externs.   At Bethany Family Pet Clinic, we have worked very hard to create a collaborative environment, healthy work-life balance, and a well-fed and caffeinated team!
