Dr. Ellie Harris

Dr. Harris graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University, and grew up in Seattle, WA. She attended Pomona College in Claremont, CA for her undergrad. While in vet school, Dr. Harris did a rotation at the Oregon Zoo right here in Portland! “My favorite thing there was seeing an ultrasound on one of their elephants,” she shares, “And I got to help with a physical exam on their red panda, Moshu.” Here at Bethany, she is so excited to be able to practice Fear Free Medicine every day, and be able to work with an awesome group of talented doctors. Her favorite parts of veterinary medicine include multi-modal anesthetic protocols and soft tissue surgery. In her free time, she loves to trail run in Forest Park, garden, play soccer, and hike. She has a pitbull mix named Hawk at home. Fun facts: she has nine brothers and sisters, and has been to 6 out of 7 continents (missing Antarctica)!
